Business Development Manager 

This is a full-time hybrid role located in London with flexibility for remote work. We are seeking a Furniture, BBQ, Homeware and Seasonal products Business Development Manager who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in the UK and EU market and building customer relationships. The manager will be responsible for creating and executing sales strategies, researching market trends, and enhancing the company's brand image.

Proven experience in Business Development or Sales in the furniture or BBQ industry. 

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of building successful client relationships. 

An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop sales strategies to capitalize on them. 

An understanding of project management principles, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable results and achieving sales targets. 

The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Fluency in English is required. 

Fluency in other languages, particularly French, Italian, is considered an asset.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Sourcing and Merchandising Specialist for Joyces Industrial Company Limited located in Hong Kong SAR. The Sourcing and Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, logistics, quality control, and product design teams in Asia to ensure timely and efficient sourcing and shipment of products. Additionally, the Sourcing and Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for product development and market research in the outdoor and indoor furniture, homeware, seasonal items and BBQ items industries. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 3+ years of experience in sourcing, merchandising, or supply chain management in the furniture, BBQ, homeware and seasonal item industry Experience with sourcing and managing suppliers in Asia is a must Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers, logistics, and quality control teams Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin Proficient in Microsoft Office and Supply Chain Management software Keen attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve independently
